The National Broadcasting Council presents a research report on the news and current affairs broadcasts of the main national television channels of the Russian Federation in 2015. The report was presented during the first Eastern Partnership Media Conference, which took place from 19-20 May 2015 in Riga.
In May 2015, the Chairman of the National Broadcasting Council held consultations on the Council of Europe document "Draft recommendation of the Committee of Ministers to member States on the protection of journalism and safety of journalists and other media actors".
During the "Social and developmental consequences of pornography" conference, the National Broadcasting Council presented the results of work aimed at effective protection of minors from pornographic content. The conference, organised by the Your Cause Association (Stowarzyszenie Twoja Sprawa), took place on 22 June in the Polish Sejm.
The role of the media in shaping tolerant attitudes and respect for diversity was discussed at a conference organised on 27 May by the Government Plenipotentiary for Equal Treatment and the National Broadcasting Council.
Representation in electronic media of disabled and elderly persons successfully fulfilling social, family and professional roles serves to eliminate discriminatory stereotypes. Such activity forms part of the KRRiT Regulatory Strategy.
